Rally at City Hall

The City Council of New York City held a committee meeting today, June 3rd, to discuss the impact of the west side development plan, including the stadium. Supporters and opponents of the project were all in evidence. WestSideStadium.org took part in a rally on the west side of City Hall Park, with over 1,000 in attendance. We also unveiled our new t-shirts, which are, yes, green, as our new stadium will be.

Before hand, the opposition held a press conference on the steps of City Hall. Our members were temporarily barred from entering by an over-zealous officer of the peace ("No blue shirts in here!")
