Opposition Getting Desperate,
Promises D-Day over Virginia Fields

We have been receiving reports all week from the opposition camp. Christine Quinn has actually been holding rehearsals for projected speakers against progress, as defined by the Sports and Convention Center, AKA the Stadium. One can only imagine the angst and pain that will pour forth Monday night at FIT.

So imagine my surprise when I arrived home from a day at the Swamp, watching the Jets cruise to victory over the promising Bengals, only to find on my voice-mail a message from "Anthony." Anthony beseeched me to fight the stadium at Virginia Fields' hearing at FIT Monday night, September 13. (Upcoming Events) "Anthony" promised all that show up free food. Well, we know where all the out-of-work actors on the west side will be Monday night.

But how the hell did "Anthony" come up with my phone number? I am a registered Democrat, so I can only assume that someone funded a mass blind phone banking to all Democrats in my district.

Do you think the Times will investigate? Hah.

If you care about the future of this city, show up Monday night at FIT, 27th between 7th and 8th, Monday at 5:30 PM. Don't let these creeps hijack our city.
