Thousands of workers gathered on the west side of the State Capitol building, urging Sheldon Silver and Joseph Bruno to stop the politics and place the matter to a vote.


Governor Pataki is pressing Silver and Bruno as well, to stop playing "Kick the Can."

Democratic State Assemblyman Jose Peralta has been leading the fight for the NYSCC, as well as standing up to the vicious Cablevision attack campaign.

Dave Herman spoke eloquently, not just as an ex- Jet player (he was offensive guard in front of Joe Namath in Super Bowl III) but as a New York tax payer.
