Anti-stadium rally Celeste Katz About 2 turned out yesterday to protest the proposed West Side football stadium. West Sider Elaine Avdalas, 53, said she was against the facility. "It's going to crowd the place. It's going to stink up the place," she said. "A stadium just doesn't make any sense economically, ecologically. I just can't stand it." The McCaffrey Park event took on the flavor of a political rally as three of the four Democrats running for City Hall - Fernando Ferrer, Anthony Weiner and Gifford Miller - showed up to bash Mayor Bloomberg's pet project. Virginia Fields was absent.
